I’m acquainted with Roger professionally and through one of our professional organizations, the Washington Freelance Reporter’s Association, of which he is the Immediate Past President. Roger has proven his abilities a leader. He says what he does, and does what he says. Roger has a vision, and the motivation, skills and background to accomplish it. Roger also, blessedly, has an indestructible core of integrity, which is something you want in a community leader. Roger is also extremely approachable and a nice guy!
Roger Flygare’s creation of, pursuit of and consistent backing of a movement within the court reporting industry for the highest ethical standards is how I first learned of Roger. Through the years I have seen him adhere to these standards. He is a true leader and will be a strong councilman.

I had the opportunity to watch Roger in action while he served as the Washington Court Reporters Association President last term. He has great leadership skills and boundless energy. He took on many difficult projects and tackled them. I believe he can get the job done. Vote for Roger!
Whatever the issue may be, Roger always listens to what others have to say and never fails to quickly propose and implement solutions. Truly a man of action. I have known Roger Flygare for more than 14 years and consider him a mentor and leader for quite a few folks that know him. I know for certain that Roger is here for you, me and all the people who work and live in Federal Way. He cares about who you are and the things that matter to you in your community. It is easy to get distracted with all the goings on around town, but one thing you can count on is Roger Flygare is here for us.
My Wife and I have been residents of Federal Way for going on 28 years. I met Roger as he was canvessing the neighborhood and had a very pleasant talk with him. He seems very sincere and earnest in what he would like to accomplish for Federal Way.
I have had the pleasure and the privilege of working both for and with Roger. As an employer, he always took the time to listen to his employees and valued our ideas and opinions. As a colleague, he has worked tirelessly to better our profession. He has been a leader and an advocate donating countless hours of his time.
